VISITATION, EXTENDED STAY,DELIVERY:

We understand just how excited your family is about your new puppy and how difficult it is to wait for him or her. Visiting your puppy will be something you might like to do. We have encouraged visits in the past but during this time of restrictions set in place by Manitoba Provincial guidelines , we are limiting visitation to online visits via FaceTime or Zoom. Should the provincial guidelines be reduced we will allow visits by appointment only.

Considerations to keep in mind while planning a visit to your puppy:

  1. Time limits: Very young puppies are only awake for a short time each day and they tire easily. There will be a 20 minute time limit for each visit.

  2. Number of visitors: Puppies are easily overwhelmed. There will be a limit of 4 people for each visit.

  3. Other furry family members: Our primary concern is the safety and health of our puppies. No other pets will be permitted during the visits whether in our home or outside.

  4. Children: Puppies are fragile and easily injured. All children will be asked to remain seated while in the puppy room.

  5. We reserve the right to conclude any visit if we deem necessary.

Extended stays:

  1. Home time: Puppies many not go home prior to 8 weeks old or longer if our family feels its in the best interest of a particular puppy.

  2. Delayed departure: Puppies that cannot go home with their litter can only extend their stay by prior arrangements. There will be an additional fee applied for this service.

  3. Any Veterinary expenses required to keep your puppy up to date with his or her vaccinations will be billed directly to the new owner.

  4. We encourage you too consider Pet insurance on your new puppy.

Delivery:

  1. Delivery by AIR: For puppies that are adopted from a long distance away we do allow shipment by AIR . The new owners will arrange for and pay for a suitable non-stop flight and the additional fees for the Veterinary “fit to fly” certificate, regulated kennel and delivery of the puppy to the Winnipeg Richardson Airport.

  2. Delivery by Road Trip: We are all hopeful that life returns to normal soon for everyone but it may be a better solution to have your puppy delivered by our family. We have experience delivering puppies and believe or not we have really enjoyed the experience. There is an additional fee based on the destination of your puppy.
